These little animals seem to be a little sad. Or at least very, very serious.
And is that…
Perhaps to this squirrel is not enough to know very well how to grab what is necessary to face a long period of scarcity. Is that happiness does not depend on what we have saved, not even in the case of a real fortune.
Perhaps this little monkey is the most intelligent inhabitant of the whole jungle, but do not look too happy… The intelligence and happiness do not necessarily go hand in hand.
The proverbial wisdom of the owl also does not appear to lead to happiness. We can believe that we know all the answers and still keep wondering how to reach happiness…
The safety of a shelter always available and made to order, does not seem to guarantee the happiness to this turtle. Security does not make us feel happy, but it is the other way around: true happiness makes us feel safe…
The ability to intimidate others with a look like this may allow us to manipulate some people. But does not precisely contributes to happiness.
And we can also be big talkers and have a lively social life…
…or be very original and always call attention…
…or we might be able to get everyone to consider us adorable… and even so not be happy.
It is that happiness does not depend on any of these things. It has nothing to do with possessions or relationships or talents. It is a state of plenitude that we can only find within ourselves, the only place where we can find, to later share, the authentic love.
